Introduction

This accessibility statement applies to the website of dressler1929.com published under Dressler Bekleidungswerke Brinkmann GmbH & Co. KG.

General description of the service

The website of Dressler Bekleidungswerke Brinkmann GmbH & Co. KG provides information about the company, its offers and enables direct contact.

Applicable legal requirements

The accessibility requirements for digital services are defined in Section 14 of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) in conjunction with Section 3(1) BFSG and the Ordinance on the BFSG (BFSGV).

Implementation of accessibility requirements

This assessment is based on a self-evaluation supported by the accessibility tool AccessGO.

As a result of this review, the website is partially compliant with the aforementioned legal accessibility requirements.

The following elements are not fully compliant with the applicable regulations:

  • Barrier: Some links are empty or contain no text, making their target or function unclear.
  • Barrier: Redundant adjacent links with the same destination.
  • Barrier: Skipped heading level in the document structure.
  • Barrier: Positive tabindex value on an element can lead to unpredictable navigation behavior.
  • Barrier: Some form fields do not have correctly associated text labels.

Planned handling of the mentioned accessibility barriers

We are already working on removing these barriers.

Note on PDF files

Some PDF documents provided on the website (e.g. user manuals, declarations of conformity, energy labels, certificates) are currently not fully accessible.

These documents may have structural and technical limitations, including missing heading structures, undefined reading order, missing alternative text for images, or untagged tables. As a result, they may only be partially usable with assistive technologies.

Due to organizational and economic constraints, we are currently unable to provide all existing PDF documents in fully accessible form. However, we strive to make new documents accessible whenever possible.

If you need a specific document in an accessible version, please contact us. We will gladly provide an individually accessible version if feasible.

Addition to the accessibility statement

Our website includes the accessibility plugin AccessGO (www.accessgo.de), provided by DGfB – Deutsche Gesellschaft für Barrierefreiheit mbH.

This allows users to adapt our website to individual limitations or preferences.

Settings can be accessed via the AccessGO symbol or alternatively using the shortcut “ALT + 1”. All functions are keyboard-operable.

Among other things, users can adjust:

  • Font size
  • Contrast
  • Link highlighting
  • Screen reader activation
  • Profiles to activate multiple settings at once.

Date of the accessibility statement

Competent market surveillance authority

To fulfill the tasks of the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG), the federal states of Germany are currently establishing a joint institution.
The Market Surveillance Authority of the Federal States for Accessibility of Products and Services (MLBF) is planned as a new public-law institution in Magdeburg, Saxony-Anhalt.

Its establishment is subject to the ratification of the interstate treaty on the implementation of BFSG by all federal states. Preparatory steps are currently underway in all federal states.
